Our Mission, Vision & Values

Rooted in the gospel. Growing in grace. Living for God’s glory — and sent for His mission.

Our Mission

We exist to call, form, and send disciple-makers — in our homes, in Chuluota, and throughout the world.

Our mission flows from Christ’s Great Commission (Matthew 28:18–20) and the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37–39). We long to see men, women, and children come to faith in Christ, formed by His Word, and sent into the world as faithful witnesses. Discipleship begins in our homes, flourishes in the gathered church, and extends outward to our neighbors and the nations.

Our Vision

We envision a Christ-centered, covenantal community of believers joyfully growing together in grace and truth— a church where worship is reverent and joyful, the Word is central, and love is tangible; where families are strengthened, children are discipled, and generations walk together in faith. We long to see God glorified as His people are rooted in the gospel, transformed by the Spirit, and equipped to serve wherever He calls.

Our Core Values

Our values express what we believe God calls His Church to be and how we seek to live together as His people. They shape our worship, discipleship, and mission—keeping us centered on Christ and faithful to His Word. Each value reflects a conviction drawn from Scripture and lived out together in our life as a church.

These eight values describe who we are becoming as a Reformed congregation—rooted in grace, formed by the gospel, and sent for God’s glory.

Colossians 1:18 — “So that in everything He might be preeminent.”

Word-Centered

God’s Word is our highest authority and greatest treasure. Through Scripture, God reveals His character, His promises, and His purposes for His people. We devote ourselves to faithful preaching, teaching, and study of the Word because it is through Scripture that God grows and governs His Church.

2 Timothy 3:16–17; Psalm 19:7–11; Hebrews 4:12

Gospel-Driven

The gospel is not just what saves us—it is what sustains us. Everything we do flows from the good news that Jesus lived, died, and rose again for sinners. We seek to be a people continually shaped by grace: repenting often, rejoicing always, and resting fully in Christ’s finished work.

Romans 1:16–17; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Galatians 2:20

Authentic Fellowship

God calls His people into covenant relationship—not only with Himself, but with one another. As a church, we are committed to walking together in love, bearing one another’s burdens, and pursuing Christ in authentic fellowship. This includes our families, our children, and all generations worshiping side by side as one body in Christ.

Acts 2:42–47; Ephesians 4:1–6; Deuteronomy 6:6–7

Generational Discipleship

Faithfulness in one generation leads to fruitfulness in the next. We equip parents to shepherd their children, mentor young believers, and model mature faith. Our “Life Together” ministry emphasizes discipleship at home and in the gathered body—shaping hearts through worship, teaching, and community life.

Psalm 78:4–7; 2 Timothy 2:2; Titus 2:1–8

Worship that Glorifies God

We gather each Lord’s Day to worship God simply, reverently, and joyfully according to His Word. Our worship is Christ-centered and shaped by Scripture, not by culture or trend. Through prayer, preaching, song, and sacrament, we glorify God and are renewed in His grace.

John 4:23–24; Colossians 3:16; Hebrews 12:28–29

Missional Living

The gospel calls us outward—to love our neighbors, serve our community, and bear witness to Christ. We seek to be a faithful presence in Chuluota and beyond, partnering with other churches and missionaries to make disciples of all nations. Our mission field begins at home and extends to the ends of the earth.

Matthew 28:19–20; Acts 1:8; Philippians 2:15–16

Self-Sacrificial Love

Christ’s love moves us to serve others before ourselves. We aim to display His compassion through hospitality, service, and generosity—in our church family and in our town. We love because He first loved us, and through that love the world sees Christ in us.

John 13:34–35; Philippians 2:3–4; 1 John 3:16–18

Reproducing Church

Christ calls His Church not to grow for its own sake, but to multiply. Healthy disciples and healthy churches reproduce—making new disciples, raising new leaders, and planting new congregations. We believe the goal of growth is sending, not size. As God entrusts us with more people than we can hold, we will joyfully send some to form new gospel-centered churches so that Christ’s kingdom expands. We are committed to being a one-service, one-location church that trains, equips, and releases disciple-makers for the mission of God.

Matthew 28:19–20; Acts 13:1–3; 2 Timothy 2:2; Romans 10:14–15
