What To Expect On Sundays
Worshiping God together in reverence, joy, and truth. What Time Does Worship Start? How Long Is the Service?
Our worship service begins at 10:00 AM and typically lasts around 75 minutes. We gather in the cafeteria of Walker Elementary School, which offers a comfortable and welcoming space for worship and fellowship. There’s plenty of time before and after the service to connect with others, and we encourage you to stay and get to know the church family.
What Is the Service Like?
Our worship is simple, reverent, and centered on God’s Word. Each week, we gather to hear from Scripture, sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, and respond to God’s grace through prayer and preaching. Our Service follows a historic Reformed liturgy, which means our service has an intentional rhythm that helps us focus on Christ—beginning with a call to worship, moving through confession and assurance, and culminating in the proclamation of the gospel and celebration of the sacraments.
You’ll find that the service blends both joy and reflection. Some weeks call us to rejoice, others to lament, but in all things, our worship points us to Christ and shapes us to live as His people. Our aim is not performance but participation—helping each person engage with God in a meaningful way.
How Will I Know What to Do?
When you arrive, you’ll receive an order of worship that walks through each part of the service. You’ll see Scripture readings, prayers, songs, and responses clearly printed, making it easy to follow along. Our pastor and service leaders will guide you through each element of the service. Even if you’re unfamiliar with this style of worship, you’ll find it thoughtful, clear, and deeply rooted in Scripture.
What About My Kids?
Children are a vital part of our congregation, and we love having them worship with us. We believe that children grow in faith by hearing and participating in the worship of God’s people. Families are encouraged to stay together during the service, and while little voices may be heard, we see them as reminders of God’s covenant faithfulness.
If a parent needs to step out, there’s a children’s area available behind the partition, where families can take a break and still listen to the service. We want parents to know that this time is worth it—worshiping together as a family plants deep spiritual roots.
What About Communion?
We regularly celebrate the Lord’s Supper as a reminder of God’s grace to us in Christ. All who have trusted in Jesus and are members in good standing of a Bible-believing church are warmly invited to the table. If you are still exploring faith, you’re welcome to remain and observe. We would love to talk afterward about what this meal means and how it points to the gospel.
At Christ’s Community, we approach the Lord’s Table with reverence and joy, remembering that it is a visible sign of the covenant promises of God to His people.
What Should I Wear?
There’s no dress code here. Some wear jeans, others wear slacks or dresses. Our focus isn’t on outward appearance but on worshiping the Lord from the heart. Come as you are—what matters most is that you come ready to meet with God.
Where Should I Park?
We meet at Walker Elementary School, 3101 Snowhill Road in Chuluota. Parking is available in the main school lot, just steps from the cafeteria where we worship. You’ll see signs and greeters ready to welcome you and help you find your way. The atmosphere is friendly, and we do our best to make it easy for you to settle in and feel at home.
